About TGoF

This blog started out as Part-Time Entertainment- a place for me to share my opinions about movies that I see in my spare time. I then changed the name of the blog to Crummy Movies as a way to make the name a little more personal to me, but with the same goals as Part-Time Entertainment. Later on down the road I created another blog called Crummy Beers to write opinions about my growing interest in beer and homebrewing whilst still continuing with Crummy Movies.

So now we have entered the 3rd iteration of this blog which combines both my passion of film and craft beer into one blog- which you see now as Tall Glass of Film. The site will be going through a majority of aesthetic changes over time, but the content goal will be to transfer over my beer reviews from Crummy Beers as well as continuing to post my movie reviews. The newest addition to the site is that I will be dropping in to recommend beers to drink along with a specific film- these will likely be themed (at least that’s the idea), just to have a little bit of fun with the format.

I am always open for suggestions and recommendations, provided that they are available to me so feel free to contact me at any time. I am available in any number of ways, but the easiest is likely Twitter @CrummyLuke and @TallGlassOFilm. The only disclaimer I must put out there is given my geographical location there, sadly, A LOT of great craft beers not available for purchase near me so I have to work with what I can get my hands on.

As always I want to thank everyone for reading and any continued support. Please get the word out so I can continue to branch out and add some more fun features and content in the future. I look forward to interacting with everyone, so don’t be shy!

Feeling Generous? Have something you think I should try or watch? Feel free to contact me at tallglassoffilm@gmail.com for info on how to get stuff to me!

  1. Great blog. I came here from Letterboxd and just added a couple of movies to my “To Watch” list after reading your reviews. Great work and I look forward to seeing more.
    Good luck,
    Scott
